My Poor Baby

Poor Bryson is sick for the first time in his little life. A couple of days ago he became really congested which followed with a fever. We took him to the doctor today and she said that he has an ear infection. So we are giving him Amoxil twice a day and Tylenol every 4 hours. What doctor visit would be complete without a weigh in? Little man weighed.....20 lbs!

Pops comes for a visit!

Emmie's 3!

Sunday was Emmie's 3rd Birthday, wow time goes by so quickly!

Bryson is so fascinated by Emmie, he just watches her in awe.

Who is this girl? She can talk, walk and play, she is so cool!

Her birthday was made complete with a visit from Cinderella!

Bryson had fun watching all of the big kids dressed up in there princess costumes.

Emmie had a blast! She cracked me up when she was opening her presents!

On the Move!

Long gone are the days of sitting Bryson on the floor and expecting him to stay in one place and play with his toys. He has been pulling up, attempting to walk for about a month now and crawling for 3 weeks. Wow! He can MOVE. He is a little busy body and if he isn't crawling at lightening speed, he is pushing his walker around the living room. Once all of this started happening we realized that this is where the real work begins!

1st Tooth

So Monday June 18th, just one day away from Bryson's big 8 month b-day, we discovered that he has a tooth. It is barely in and on the bottom right side of his mouth. Pretty soon he will have a mouth full and won't look like a baby anymore :( I tried to get a pic of it but this is the best I could do.

Happy 1st Father's Day

Cleve's first official Father's Day was great. We traveled home from Houston and then just hung out around the house the rest of the day. Bryson made him a "Happy 1st Father's Day" Poster with his footprints and a picture, got him some swimming trunks for our upcoming trip to Playa del Carmen and a new CD. Cleve was truly born to be a father. I am so thankful that Bryson is blessed with such a wonderful dad!

Trip to Houston continued!

Saturday we made a trip to Sugar Land to visit Missy & Jay in their new place. Saturday night we had a mini Zeta reunion and met up with Elaine, Stacie & Baylie (Stacie's daughter). Jay & Cleve stayed home and watched Luke and Bryson for us while we recalled our college days in the Zeta house. What fun it is to see old friends and get out of town for the weekend. Our days of crazy nights in the house, going to class, mixers, frat parties and sleeping in have been replaced with sippy cups, Disney movies, grocery shopping, mommyhood and watching our little ones grow so quickly!

Kenny Chesney

Went to Houston this past weekend. Meredith and I went to see Kenny Chesney in concert on Friday night while the boys stayed with the daddys. The concert was a blast! Our seats were great, we had quite the view of Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Kenny! Weather was about 80 degrees which was great, it made the concert much more enjoyable. Consider this, last year it was 100 degrees in the shade and I was 7 months prego!

Nap, What's that?

So Bryson has decided that he doesn't want to sleep anymore, he'd rather stand in his crib and hang out or even worse cry for you to come in there. It has been about a week since he figured all of this out and Cleve and I are trying everything we can to teach him that the crib is for sleeping and not standing! I have to admit, he is pretty darn cute doing it!

Bryson's First Haircut

Well we finally broke down and decided it was time for Bryson to get his first professional haircut. We took him to this place in Fort Worth called Cool Cuts 4 Kids. They have a little taxi cab for the kiddos to sit in while they get their hair cut. Bryson absolutly loved it! He was driving that little taxi and loving every minute of it! His hair looks so cute but he looks like such a big boy!

New Blog!

Well, I've finally decided to start blogging. I'm not really sure how all this works but I guess I'll find out. I thought it would be a good way to record what is going on in our lives and share it with our friends and family so.....Here it goes!
