Happy 6th Birthday Bryson

My sweet little man turned six this past week!  It's hard to believe that!
With all of the football played this fall, what better party to have than a football party?  My sweet neighbor made this amazing cake from scratch!

We had the idea to buy field paint and paint the football field in our backyard.  Cleve made a goal post out of PVC pipe.
A little run thru sign action
 Bounce House
The TCU vs Tech game playing on the patio
 some Happy Birthday singing
 wish making....
present opening....lots and lots of legos this year.
 some socializing....
and of course a little football playing

Bryson you are such a sweet boy, you are so smart and always strive to do your best.  You are SO competitive and so athletic.  You have a caring heart and are always concerned for others.  You are wise beyond your years.  I pray that you will continue to grow in your faith in Christ, that you would, in your words "Honor God" in everything you do and say.   I'm so proud to be your mom!  I love you to the moon and back!

Happy Birthday, to me!

What better way to spend your birthday than a little Friday night lights in Texas.   Not only that but a historic Friday night lights.  The very first varsity home football game played in Brock!

And of course some cheerleading, Macie loved it!
I feel like one blessed girl!  Thank you God for another year to grow and become more like your son.  I pray that I will give you all the glory in everything that I do.

Birthday Part 2

Sunday Nick & Amber came to pick up Ramona and the girls just weren't ready to part.  So Macie went with them, first ice skating (Watch out Winter Olympics 2022), then to the "Miracle Round" aka the Merry-Go-Round, then Bounce House and Dinner.....I'm sure these little ones are wiped out!  So thankful that M & R have each other, they truly are best friends.

Ramona's 3rd Birthday

Ramona's Birthday weekend was so much fun!!!  We definitely made a weekend of it!
Aunt Amber did a great job decorating
Red Jett Sweets made a special appearance
 Ramona was pumped!

A little Happy Birthday to you
 Painting airplanes
The AFD just happened to be driving by and were kind enough to stop and let the kids see the truck, so sweet
 A little photo booth action

Ramona came home with us for a sleepover......

Layla's Wild Ride

So Macie's sweet kitten Layla went missing on Thursday.  We searched for her and couldn't find her anywhere.  Friday morning my mom texted me a picture of Layla and said are you missing a cat?  What?  How in the world did Layla end up at my office??  This is how it went down, we believe that she rode up in my car the 25 minute ride to my office, somehow climbed up underneath my dad's car, rode another 10 minutes to my parents.  Thursday night my parent's dogs were going crazy and my dad went in the garage and they had cornered a white cat, he didn't know whose it was but put it outside.  Friday morning, my parents were working at the office and my dad happened to look out the window and said, "Hey there's that cat that was out at the house"  My mom looked and said that looks like Macie's cat.  And so there you have it, she has at least used up 3 of her 9 lives.  When we were searching for her I prayed that God would bring her home somehow, I knew Macie would be heartbroken if she was gone.  Little did I know just how far she had traveled and how crazy of a story it was.  Thank you God for answering my prayer!  So Friday I worked in the office, while Layla slept in my chair :)

Journal

We had Kindergarten Curriculum night the other night and they were discussing the journaling the kids have been doing.  Bryson's teacher put the above picture up on the screen and said, this is actually Bryson's.  He was so so excited and ran up to her and said, "Ms. Massey I think I spelled jet ski right!! Can you check it?"  She said she was so proud of him for hearing and recognizing some of the sounds in the words.  So when I got home I told him about it and taught him how to spell jet ski and then we talked about some different sentences he could make using jet ski.  Off he went to bed, I went into check on him about a half an hour later and he had smuggled a pen and pad and written the above note.    I love that kid!

Fire Station Visit

We've got spirit

Aren't my little football player and cheerleader the cutest??
Bryson had a great game and scored 2 touchdowns, and Macie and Ava were great little cheerleaders for their big brothers!

C-H-E-E-R

My friend Tiffany and I decided that even though the girls weren't old enough to be official cheerleaders that wouldn't stop us from getting uniforms made and making them the official cheerleaders of our team :)  Macie thinks she is HOT stuff in her uniform!
