This past weekend we were invited to the lake with some good friends of ours. It was a blast! The kids loved it, especially Bryson. He was jumping of the second story dock which was about 15-20 feet from the water below. The first time he jumped, when he came up out of the water he said, "That was AWESOME!!" That boy has no fear! Thanks to Ryan & Nancy for having us out for a super fun lake day!

Soccer!!

Bryson is playing soccer this season and he's really enjoying it! He had his first game on Saturday and he did so well! He was so serious and determined the entire game.
Macie & Audrey watching their older siblings...
Bryson taking the ball down the field for a goal!
Again.....He scored three goals!
What a great first game, he got the star for offense. The league he is playing in is a Christian based sports organization called Upward. Each week the kids have a memory verse and learn a Christian principle. Last week it was determination, "Let us keep running the race marked out before us Hebrews 12:1"

Time to potty

So a couple of weeks ago while we were in San Antonio my mom decided that it was time for Macie to wear big girl panties....so she took her to the store, and bought her some my little pony panties. When we got home she refused to wear diapers. So we were like here we go! I'm so proud of her, she is doing a great job. #2 is a little difficult for her but she is working on it. My mom also decided that it was time to say goodbye to the 80s mullet that Macie was sporting. She told me before we left that she was going to cut her hair while we gone and I told her NO....but she did it anyway :) I have to admit it looks better but I would have liked to be present and take some pics!
Macie's Room
I've been working on Macie's room. I still need to paint the walls and work on the window treatments but this is a little preview. I made her letters this evening, not too shabby for about an hours worth of work! Although her bedding has flowers and polka dots, I found the cutest sheets at Pottery Barn that have little owls and trees and so it's kinda morphed into a little sub theme of her room. I stumbled upon this lamp at Target which matches perfectly.

She loves her new big girl room!

Uncle Will
Clubhouse

A couple weeks ago Cleve decided that it was time to build the kids a tree house. He drew it out on a piece of paper, made a trip to Lowes and got to work. The kids were so excited as he built it, they couldn't wait to play on it.

The finished product, the kids are so excited!

The kids are so blessed to have such a handy and talented dad. The 105 plus heat didn't stop him from making this dream a reality. Special thanks to Uncle Cody for helping out!
