Kids say

The funniest things! We were wraping up our conversation to daddy on the phone and Bryson said, "Daddy be careful fightin' those fires.....they're really HOT! I will blow on them for you daddy" Then he proceeded to blow into the phone. It was so funny!

On another note, Macie girl went to the doctor today because she has had a lot of congestion and a cough. I just wanted to make sure that she was okay so I took her in for a check up. All is well. Do you know how much she weighed? Keep in mind that she was at the doctor exactly one week ago and was 10lbs 9oz well today she was 11lbs 8oz, wow how she is growing!

2 Months

10lbs 9 oz, 22 inches, 50th Percentile for both!

Sweet Macie girl was 2 months on Friday. It is so hard to believe that it has been 2 months since she was born. She is getting so big, we'll be going to the doctor in the morning so I will have her stats soon. In the past month she has grown and changed a lot:

The hair on the top of her head is growing back so she doesn't look like a little old man anymore, yea! She is so smiley, especially in the morning time! She smiles at everyone and everything. All day long she is the most calm and relaxed baby, but don't be fooled.....somewhere between 8-10pm she has her moments of drama! She doesn't scream continuously, she will just cry....be calm....cry......be calm. It's the wierdest thing. If she is in a reclining position she will try to sit up, big brother did the same thing! Bryson is still doing so great with her he is such a great big brother. Sometimes he will just walk over and kiss her on the head and then go back to playing. When he wakes up in the morning and he doesn't see her he says, "Mom, Where's Baby Macie?" So sweet! She is getting more and more interested in him and loves to watch to see what he is doing. She is glued to the TV if it's on and she is close enough to see it, I think she just likes the colors and movement. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful daughter!

Happy 3rd Garrett!

Sunday was such a beautiful day, Good thing because it was Garrett's 3rd Birthday Party! Bryson had a ball, there was a huge castle bounce house, lots of kiddos to play with and even the Texas Ranger's Mascot Captain!
Bryson was excited to play baseball with the mascot. He loves baseball and can't wait until he gets to play honk ball next year. This year he will just get to go watch Garrett play (he asks me about this daily).

"Happy Birthday Garrett! Don't blow out the candles Bryson!"
Oh the drama of not getting to drive the John Deere Gator.....

What a fun party!

Missy's 30th

One of my best friends from college, Missy, came up from Sugar Land so we could celebrate her upcoming 30th birthday. Little did she know her husband had a little trick up his sleve. He had me give her an envelope with a peice of paper in it. On the paper it said Happy Birthday!! Missy you and your fiends NEW YORK CITY (there was a picture of the city in the background along with a whole description of the trip). So for her birthday he is sending us on a girl's trip to the big apple!! I am so excited!!! Here is Missy's reaction:

It was classic! She had NO idea that Jay and I had been coordinating and planning the trip and she is SO excited! Jay gets husband of the year award!

Movie Night

Friday night we were sitting around the house trying to think of something fun to do.....Cleve decided we would rearrange the living room, build a tent, rent a movie & have family movie night.
Bryson thought it was pretty cool that we had a "tent" in the middle of our living room

We popped some popcorn and watched Open Season 2 (not the best movie)

Macie even got into it! It was such a fun Friday night!

Day at the Park

Bryson loves the park and since the weather has been so great we have been trying to take advantage of it. Yesterday we made a trip to the local park for a nice fun filled family day!

Last year Bryson couldn't climb this....he is getting so big, too fast.

Too Cool

for School! Bryson woke up this morning and said, "I get to go to school today Mommy!" He just loves preschool and is always so excited the days he goes. He loves playing with his friends, and learning lots of new things. When I picked him up today he said, "Mom I had a fun day at school!" He is growing up way too fast!

Always the Princess

That is what the shirt says and it is definitly a true statement. I can't believe my little princess is 7 weeks old today! She is still doing great, growing a lot & just has started smiling and cooing! So sweet!
