FW Fire Kids

Bryson got to attend the first annual FWFD Fire Kids.   It was an overnight camp and the kids got to experience fire station life and training.   To say that he had a blast would be an understatement!   That is him above putting out a dumpster fire!

What a neat experience for these kiddos!  I see some future fireman right there!

The Plunge

We have talked about the possibility of putting a pool in the past few years.  As summer got underway we decided to take the plunge!  The kids are older now and we felt it was the perfect time to go for it.  We had some plans drawn up and began making some decisions.

Day 1: I was pretty sad that my beautiful yard was about to be torn up, but knew that the end result would be worth it!

Here it goes...

As you can see they hit a 3 1/2 foot shelf of SOLID rock
