My 2 Kids
We also took this little video of Bryson. I was prompting him on what to say but he will say these things on his own. The other day Macie was crying and he patted her head and said, "It's okay sweet girl" another time he asked her, "Where does it hurt pumpkin?" It just melts my heart!

1 Week Old
Today is Macie's 1 Week Birthday, it's already flying by! She is growing, eating so well and sleeping awesome! I know it's too early to determine what kind of sleeping pattern she will have but the past two nights she has given us at least a 6 hour stretch in the night and it has been awesome. She is a very content baby and is still sleeping most of the daytime but wakes up in the evenings to see what's going on.
I am thrilled at how well the transition to two is going. Bryson is doing so well. It's weird but it is like she's always been here. He is so interested in her, what she is doing and he is already so protective, it's just precious!
So sweet!
Fire truck
Bryson is obsessed with fire trucks, he likes to line them all up on the table and then he says, "The fire trucks are ready for a big fire" Don't know if this love for fire trucks comes from Daddy or if it is just a normal boy obsession?

Dress Up
My parents took Bryson last night and we had a night at home with just me, Cleve & Macie. Cleve looked over at me and said, "2 1/2 years ago we thought this was so much work, seriously???!!!" Bryson is just at an age where he is go go go non-stop so we are definitly adjusting to having two ends of the spectrum!

The bags are packed...
I'm ready to go! I'm sitting here at the computer, it's 11:25 and I'm thinking. Oh my gosh what else do I need to get done? I haven't been procrastinating but it seems as though there is a never ending checklist of items to be done. I think that I've come to the end of the list and now I am faced with the prospect of hitting the sack for one last night of "sleep" Of course my husband has been asleep for about 2 1/2 hours, he won't stay awake contemplating tommorrow's agenda, men! I am so filled with emotion tonight and I must say it is quite unexpected, my mind has been going a hundred miles a minute. I couldn't even veg out and enjoy the bachelor! What will she look like? What will it be like? I know I will love her like I love Bryson, it's just so hard to imagine how your heart grows that big. God has truly blessed me and I am so overcome with joy and happiness! Well I've got 15 minutes before I am banned from eating so I better go do that, read my bible and TRY to get some sleep! Thanks to all of you who are praying for us, I'll post pics & info soon!

Getting Ready
So we've been counting down the hours and Daddy is working today so it was our last "mommy-Bryson" day. Bryson's been reading Froggy's Baby Sister and learning all about what is about to happen.
After the book we had a movie night. We decorated a paper bag, popped some popcorn, added in some pretzels & marshmellows, and started Monsters. It was a very special time for the two of us!

4 days...
So I had my final OB appointment & sonogram today, I can't believe it! The sonogram was great they measured my fluids and all of her parts. The computer's best estimation is that she is 5 1/2 pounds, lets keep in mind that exactly 1 week before delivering Bryson the computer estimated him at 6 pounds and he came out 7lbs 9oz so there is definitly room for error. Not to mention the fact that I gained 3 pounds in the last 7 days, seriously?! I guess Macie is just packing it on here at the end! The sonographer also confirmed for me one more time that Macie is a girl, which was reassuring. The doctor said the fluids were good but if they were any lower she would need to come before Tuesday so to call him if I have any changes. Everything looks great now we are just waiting for Tuesday morning, bright and early! I am looking forward to meeting my daughter!
p.s. Last night I told Bryson right before he went to bed that when he woke up we were going to go and see Dr. Howell and we were going to see Macie on the TV. This morning the first thing he said when he woke up was, "Mom let's go see Dr. Howell & Macie on the TV" It was precious, the next time he sees her it will be live and in color!
