4 Months!
Here are some new things that she is doing:
~Rolling Over
~Talking, Talking, Talking she LOVES the sound of her voice
~Laughing & Smiling a lot!
~She is in more of a routine, waking up in the mornings about 5am, eating, then going back down until 8am taking 3 naps a day and going to bed at 8pm, I love it!
~She is really into big brother and follows him around
~She loves her little baby doll and snuggles with it all the time, it's the cutest thing ever!
~She likes to stick her tounge out (see above picture)
We went today for her well visit and shots :( she cried and I believe I got a glimpse of the drama queen to come! The doctor said she was growing quite nicely and a very busy and social baby.
She weighed 13lbs 6oz (50th percentile) and was 24 1/2" (60th percentile).
She brings so much joy to our lives and we are so thankful for her!

Baby Doll
Macie has been chewing on her fingers while holding her paci lately, she puts it in her mouth, takes it out & holds it. Teething has already begun!
She also has a little baby doll that she loves to love on, it is so precious! You know I have nothing to do with encouraging that...wink wink!
Isn't she the cutest thing ever? I can't believe she is 4 months old today, what a sweetheart!
Buzz....
Cleve has been begging me to let him buzz Bryson's hair for about a year. I finally gave in yesterday.......it's a little too short! I almost had a heart attack when I saw it but his hair grows so quickly that it will be the perfect length in about 2 weeks!

Just Another Day
Full of smiles & laughs from sweet Macie
Accident free for Bryson!! Even during nap time!
I am still in shock and disbelief that my son is, dare I say it?.......Potty Trained!
He is so so proud of himself and wants everyone to know, he has preschool tomorrow and he said "Mom I'm going to tell Taylor and Jackson that I go potty on the big boy toilet and I said bye bye diapers!"
He is showing off his Blimp from Cars that he got for going #2 on the big boy toilet

3 day Potty Training- Day 3
Well it's mother's day and I got a great gift from my sweet little boy. Bryson wore the same underwear ALL DAY LONG!!!!! We went to church~no accident, we took a nap~no accident, we went to my parents for lunch~no accident, we came back to our house and played with grandparents & cousin~no accident. Every single time he had to potty today he told us and he is so proud of himself. Today was a wonderful day, we quit pumping the liquids in him and it seems like he has pretty good control of his bladder. He pee'd about 6 times today and we didn't have to ask him if he was dry or remind him to tell us if he had to go quite so frequently as the previous days. I am a total believer in this method and reccomend it to anyone who has to potty train. Now I know that the potty training is not over and will be a continuous work in progress but I am so excited at the progress and success we have had in these three days!
Happy Mother's Day to all of the mommy's!

3 day Potty Training- Day 2
I forgot to mention yesterday that everytime Bryson has been going to the big boy toilet he gets to put a car in "the race" he gets so excited about this and it is a great incentive! Today was another successful day! Bryson now has 40 cars in the race, which means he went to the bathroom 23 times today! (Yes I am still pumping the liquid in him). I think he only had one wet accident the whole day...it's all running together. (This is not including nap time, he went while he was asleep). He did go number 2 in his underwear but that is the first time he has gone since we started this thing and as soon as it started he said uh oh I have to go to the big boy toilet. I am encouraged by this because he has gone #2 several times on the toilet in the past, we just never could get him to pee.
Since tomorrow is mother's day and he is doing so well we are going to go to church with an extra pair of clothes in tow. I won't pump him full of liquids tomorrow, seriously 23 times in 12 hours......that is insane! I am tired, and really worn out but I know it will all be worth it!
p.s. It kind of makes me sad that my little boy is so grown up :(

3 day Potty Training- Day 1
Day 1 of "3 day potty training" is over, YEA! I had heard so much of this 3 day Potty Training:http://www.3daypottytraining.com/
So I went to their website to see what it was all about, bought the eBook and set today as the big day to say bye bye to diapers......FOREVER!
We had introduced the potty a long time ago (probably about a year) and he was really interested and then lost interest. With Macie coming I had put everything on the back burner because I just didn't want to mess with it. It is so true when they say that half of the potty training is the parents... Anyway I bought the book, read it and it gave me some much needed guidance and inspiration to do it.
I made my notes read over them and when Bryson woke up today we got started. We had breakfast and I began pumping the fluids in him just as the book had described. We went in his bedroom to change his diaper and I said, okay this is it time to say bye bye diapers. We threw away the rest of the diapers he had in his room. Put on big boy underwear and headed to the bathroom for our "potty talk"
The first hour was great, I followed the method and asked him every minute or so to remember to tell me if he had to go tee tee or poo poo and did the frequent are your pants dry? YEA AWESOME GOOD JOB! Of course as all of this was going on I was practically giving him liquid thru an IV. So about an hour into it he is standing by the couch and says, mom I tee'd so we went to the bathroom and "finished" peeing on the toilet. The short version is that this same thing happened 4 more times within the span of 30 minutes. After the 3rd time I was following directions being positive, loving, encouraging and I ask Bryson, now what are you going to do the next time you have to go pee? His response? I'm just going to pee on the window seal and then you can clean it up! UM....wrong answer!
After those 5 accidents I began to be a little discouraged and then it was like the light bulb went off he told me he had to pee and then went to the bathroom 7 times!!!! Amazing! I then put him down for a nap, in underwear as directed. Well he woke up wet, had two accidents and then remembered oh yes I'm suppose to tell mom. From about 3-9pm he only had one sorta accident and I am so happy to report he tee'd on the potty a total of 18 times for the day!! He was even in the bathtub and told me mom I have to tee. So I'm hoping & praying that day 2 of this thing is a success too....stay tuned.

It's a.....
GIRL COUSIN! My baby sister Amber and her husband Nick found out today that they will be having a sweet baby girl in October! We are all so excited for them and can't wait to have another girl in the family. Bryson had been praying for a boy cousin but in the past few weeks everytime we asked him he would tell us he was going to have a girl cousin. So today when I told him that he was going to have a girl cousin his response was, "I don't want a girl cousin!" So funny! Congrats to Amber & Nick!
