The past few weeks

 Mom & Dad had a blast at the Texas Realtor Convention in San Antonio, Macie couldn't figure out who the guy with Mimi was.

 Macie got a new TCU cheerleader outfit and she loves it.....

 Macie had a project for school.  The note home said:  Parents please help your children decorate this paper doll in your child's likeness.   Ok so maybe I did a little more than assist in helping.......Cleve said is this Macie's project or Mommy's??

 We had team pics for football.....

 Ramona came and spent the night, these two LOVE each other.  

 Lastly, I enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the porch and was reminded of his scripture:

Totally in awe of the creator & sustainer of the universe, who am I that he is mindful of me?  That he knows my heart intimately and loves me just the same.  I pray that I would glorify Him always.

Saturday was Bryson's first time to run thru a sign.....first of many I'm sure.  It's so funny to see how excited the boys were to run thru the sign.

Did you know?

Did you know that there are only so many pictures that you can post on the blog before they tell you that you have exceeded the "free" picture space on the blog?  Me neither.  Apparently 785 posts and five years into it I have done just that.....so now I have to pay for more space.  

Ready for some football?

 Bryson made his football debut on Saturday.....he is eaten up with the sport!

 Tolar and Bryson have known each other from birth, his daddy is also a fireman and our head coach.

 Ready, Set, HIKE!  Bryson is fast.  I mean super fast.  He broke free and went all....the.....way for his very first touchdown!!

 So excited about completing his first football game.

It was kind of a full circle moment for me....it wasn't too long ago we use to travel to this field to watch my brother, Cody, play football and my sister, Apryle, cheer.  Seems like just yesterday!

Labor Day Weekend Wrap up

 What a weekend we had!  It was jam packed but fantastic!  Friday evening we went to Mimi & Papa's to eat dinner & swim.  Uncle Cody took Bryson fishing at the creek and he caught one.  He was thrilled, and has told anyone who will listen about it.  

 Saturday morning the boys were off for Opening Day Dove Hunting with their BFFs

 Macie and I made a trip to Dallas for my college roommate Jennifer's little girl's birthday party.  Avery is so adorable and Macie kept calling her "her best friend"

 Saturday evening we went to a Welcome Back to Texas party for the Caban family.   It was so great to see a bunch of my Zeta sisters....some I haven't seen for a long time.  

Sunday morning it was up bright and early to church and then to the twins first birthday party.  It's hard to believe that our niece & nephew are ONE!

After the party we headed to the Lake with our good friends Ryan & Nancy.  The kids LOVE going down there and so do we!  When we got there they debated if they would jump off the dock or not....

 Once the seal was broken they couldn't stop!  Bryson jumped off the 2nd story dock (as he did last year).  Then it was off on the boat, Bryson water skied, Macie fell asleep.  Yes, fell asleep on the boat.  My child that does not sleep!  She stayed asleep for nearly two hours...she had to be wiped out!  The lake is so much fun and the perfect send off for summer.

So what did we do on actual Labor Day?  We rested for the week ahead, did laundry and even found time to sneak down to the pool for one last swim.   :)
